I have a confession.
I used to be a New Year’s Resolution hater. There’s probably even a blog post of mine floating around the internet about how I thought New Year’s Resolutions are silly. I used to be the hater who posted on Facebook about the crowded gym the first few weeks of January. Those were pre-dental school days, you know, before I was slapped in the face by reality and grew up.
Present day me feels like a New Year’s Resolution is essentially a goal. This goal happens to be made at the start of a new year. A New Year is a great time for new beginnings. A time to set goals for the year ahead. I love goal-setting. I even already have a planner for 2019 in which I will revert back to Dental School Me, where I set goals on the side column every week for what I hoped to accomplish that week to help me towards my year-end goals.
On the first day of 2019, Dr. Wendt and I sat down and discussed our goals for the practice. Our goals for how to best treat you- our patients! We have plans for special offers to help you accomplish any goals you have, as well as goals to impact the GOOF community.
First up, during the month of January, we’re offering $500 off Invisalign treatment. Maybe your teeth have shifted since your Middle School braces days and now is the time to get back where you want to be. Give us a call for a consult and we’ll see how to help you out. You might even have those straight teeth before the end of 2019.
Be on the lookout for our February in-office whitening special. Get those pearly whites even whiter before Valentine’s Day!
Maybe your dental-related goals aren’t cosmetic related at all. Perhaps this is the year you decide to take care of yourself and face your fears. In our office, we offer laughing gas, as well as conscious sedation to ease your mind off of your visit. Our small, private practice is perfect for those who have a fear of the dentist. Also, we’re not very scary looking, are we? 🙂
